I work on fan‑facing surfaces focused on retention, acquisition, and discovery ✨.
Highlights:
- 🚀 Migrated the homepage to Next.js and introduced
next/image, reducing image payload by ~75%. - 🛠️ Led a TypeScript migration of the static‑maps service.
- 🧩 Enabled content teams to self‑serve across multiple surfaces via Contentful.
- 📈 Delivered technical and product SEO improvements that improved search rankings.
- ⚡ Improved Core Web Vitals (CLS and INP).
- 🗓️ Implemented Calendar Mode for NBA and NHL on a reusable foundation.
- 🃏 Co‑led engineering for the Duolingo April Fools page.
