ATU (Auto-Teile-Unger) 🔧
ATU is a leading vehicle accessories retailer and workshop operator with 500+ branches in Germany and ~50 in Austria. The Berlin Digital Development team owned the online appointment booking system (OTV).
I joined with no handover from the previous team and served as the sole frontend engineer for OTV for almost two years, collaborating closely with QA, backend, and DevOps 🤝.
Highlights:
- 🚚 Migration of codebases and pipelines to GitLab

atu.deheader - 🪪 UX improvements to the booking flow
I also led the adoption of Cypress to replace an unmaintained PHP testing setup, and implemented detailed frontend logging and dashboards to trace issues, track bookings, monitor errors, and measure the impact of new features 📊.
